What to expect

It is not easy to enter into an unfamiliar space.  Our goal at Calgary Full Gospel is to put you at ease as you walk through our church doors.  We have lovely greeters at the door to extend a warm welcome and a friendly smile to you.  We want your experience to be a positive one.  We want you to come dressed, as you feel most comfortable.

Time of Worship

We are passionate about worship, because we are passionate about Jesus!  We believe in worship that ENGAGES, we believe in praises that PURSUE and worship that INVOKES the powerful presence of God!  We have live upbeat worship with guitars, drums, keyboards and singers.  Everyone has their own worship styles, for some, that might mean singing, flagging, clapping, dancing, and raising their hands, and for others it might mean quietly reflecting on the lyrics.  At Calgary Full Gospel, we welcome you to sing and worship out of your heart and communion with God.

Tithes and Offerings

At each service, we worship God through the giving of our tithes and offerings.  Tithe is the recognition of God’s lordship over all things. When we give, we are recognizing that everything we have belong to God.  He is not only Lord of our lives but also Lord of everything we produce and own.  Through our giving, lives can be saved through the work of evangelism.  At CFG, no one will be pressured to give.  We believe that giving is an act of our love and obedience to God.

Inspiring Message

Our messages are biblically sound and are empowered by the Holy Spirit.  They are given to inspire, to encourage and to transform lives.  They are liberating, redemptive and life changing.  Our messages connect the life of the individual hearer to cause personal growth and an increase in their passion for God.

Communion Celebration

We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month where we remember Christ and all that He has done for us in His life, death and resurrection.  His life becomes our life and we become members of each other.  The administering of the bread and the wine are elements we use as symbols, representing Christ’s body and blood, in remembrance of His enduring sacrifice on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven.

As long as you have made the decision to accept Jesus into your heart, you are free to celebrate with us by partaking the communion elements and prayers.

After Service

If you are visiting with us for the first time, we encourage you stop by our Welcome Centre to fill out a connection card and pick up your guest package.  In your package, you will find a beverage card to redeem a free beverage of your choice at our Coffee Bar.  Snacks are also available for your purchase.  We hope that you will be able to spend a few minutes to mingle around and make some connections.

Our hosts at the Welcome Centre can assist you with any questions that you might have as well.  If you wish to take a tour of our facility, our hosts would be more than happy to show you around.

Child Check In System

Our check in system exists to manage the security of children while under the care of our ministry.  It focuses on speeding families through the check in process and providing real-time communications and information to the staff and guardians, while also providing the tools to help manage the security of the children while in our care.

The child check in system organizes and streamlines how families drop off and pick up their children.   New guests are entered into the check in system and checked in at a station operated by trained staff or volunteers.  A long line at the child check in desk adds to the drop off and pick up confusion and can potentially increase the opportunity for a security problem.  If you are visiting with us for the first time, we ask that you please arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the 11am service.

Please follow the check out procedures as instructed by the staff when you first dropped off your children so that we can ensure your children’s safety.  Please pick up your children promptly following the service.
